Double Award Triumph in Tough Times
Local architectural practice Studio-G Architecture LLP proves that it is possible to achieve significant success in times of recession. Some people may think that starting a new architectural practice at the start of the biggest recession in decades would not be the wisest decision to make, but after four challenging years, it is time to celebrate!
We were delighted to win two LABC building excellence awards on Friday night at an event at The Leicester Marriot Hotel. The first, for the Best Extension to a Building: this involved the creation of a family eco-home in Thurgarton, by restoring an existing cottage and linking it to new underground accommodation with a modern extension.
