The scheme included acute psychiatric wards and day unit, healthcare of the elderly mental health wards, reception and administration team bases, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, patients’ club, kitchen and staff dining, laundry, hotel services and maintenance.

After being selected for the project in competition, our duties involved exploring the brief and understanding needs of different patient groups, advising the client and setting up the professional team, progressing through various stages of conceptual planning to arrive at detailed designs and costings, business case submissions, planning applications, development programme and OJEC adverts for PFI route of procurement.
