This project provided a new build bespoke office solution for our client, Cool Milk, and was achieved following complex discussions with the local planning department to establish the requirement for such a building in this location.

The design was firmly embedded in sustainable principles, with a high thermal mass, super-insulated shell clad in timber and render. The building also incorporated a range of low carbon technologies to minimise both ongoing energy costs and carbon emissions including solar PV and hot water panels, rainwater harvesting, air source heat pumps, mechanical heat recovery ventilation systems and LED lighting with movement sensors and an energy monitoring and management system.
